Together
we can end homelessness in Hull
Welcome

At The Stepping Stones Project, our mission is to empower young people and adults facing and fleeing violence, rough sleeping or struggling with substance and health issues.
Official statistics recorded 36 rough sleepers in Hull during the autumn count. While this represents a slight reduction from a post-pandemic peak of 39 in 2023, the city continues to face pressures regarding single homelessness, temporary accommodation, and systemic deprivation.
Rough Sleeping Rate: Hull estimates approximately rough sleepers per 100,000 residents.
This is higher than the regional average (5.8) and England as a whole (excluding London).
